What to Bring with You
ID and Authorization
On the day of your exam, please bring an up-to-date government photo ID with accurate address information. If you are not a US citizen or permanent resident, we will need your passport and government ID. If your listed address is out of date or if your ID does not have an address, we will need a supplementary address document (FAA Medical, Pilot Certificate, a utility bill, or vehicle registration are some valid options).
Several tests also require authorization, such as a pilot logbook endorsement. Many pilot logbooks are outdated, and instructors can make mistakes when writing out an endorsement by hand. Please refer to FAA Advisory Circular 61-65 to locate the precise wording needed for a valid logbook endorsement.
Be sure to check the FAA Test Matrix pages to find out exactly what you'll need for the test. The FAA and PSI require strict adherence to regulations, so we won't be able to allow you to test if an important detail is missing or incorrect on your ID or authorization.
