Accelerated Program

AMEL ADD-ON RATING PACKAGE DESCRIPTION

Our FAA Part 61 accelerated airplane multiengine land (AMEL) add-on rating program is designed for individuals holding the commercial ASEL certificate with an instrument rating but can be adapted for individuals with other levels of certification and ratings.

Pricing

• $5,208 (includes resources, ground instruction, dual instruction, and AATD & aircraft rental) - 50% of total package cost due upon reservation of start date; final 50% due upon start date
• DPE fee (see DPE services page)
• Aircraft rental for checkride (approx. $762)

Requirements

• ASEL Private Pilot or Commmercial Pilot Certificate
• Current medical certificate (minimum class 3 or equivalent)
• Current ASEL flight review
• Proof of citizenship (valid, unexpired passport or original/certified birth certificate & government-issued photo ID)

Recommended Prerequisites

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
• Complex endorsement & proficient complex airplane knowledge and skills
• Current and proficient ASEL GPS/ILS instrument skills and Garmin 530 GPS operations
• Proficient ASEL skills & recent ASEL flight experience
