I grew up in Asheville, NC with no exposure to aviation until my first flight on an airline my senior year of high school. The potential of a career in aviation crossed my mind several times in the decade following but it seemed out of reach and I was solidly dug into another field. Eventually, seemingly out of nowhere, I felt God calling me to a career in aviation and I made the jump. I started ground school online and was immediately enamored with the fundamentals. Once I got in the cockpit of a 172M at USAeroFlight, I knew there was no turning back and I pushed through my certificates and ratings at full speed. I’m exceedingly grateful to now have the opportunity to teach and guide pilots in pursuing their own goals in aviation!
