My Dad paid for me to take a discovery flight at Pickens County Airport when I was a teenager. I instantly wanted to learn to fly. I earned my Private Pilot Certificate at the age of 19. I flew for fun for a few years but lacked faith in pursuing a career in aviation because of the time and cost involved. Years later, married with four children and even less personal time than when I was younger, I still had the desire to fly professionally. I prayed about transitioning from the career I had been working in for over 20 years. My prayers were answered, and I started taking flight lessons at USAeroflight. It has not been a quick and easy process completing my commercial, instrument, and CFI training, but it has definitely been worth the time and effort. I am now teaching as a CFI and am continuing this journey in aviation. USAeroflight is a great place to work and to grow professionally because of the level of experience and knowledge here. I am excited to see where the Lord leads me from here.
